A Journey of Hell to Heaven

To Diallo, Mali is Hell; Europe Is Heaven. He sets out on his father’s camel into the Sahara Desert to go to Europe. His journey through the deserts is gruelling and torturous. When he eventually makes it to Europe, what confronts him makes him wonder whether this is the heaven he undertook a journey of hell for or the hell in Mali overtook him on his way to Europe.
