Slates and Bowls

Born into a poor, polygamous home with many children his father cannot cater for, Mujahid ended up in a madrasa with a slate and bowl. Inspired to jihad by Gazali his madrasa teacher, Mujahid formed Lakum-Hakum, a jihadist group that turns slates to swords and bowls to receptacles for collecting blood. Lakum-Hakum takes Jeddere through channels of bloodletting which claim the mentor of a violent protégé; through canals of abduction and rape which frayed the patience and tolerance of the world.
