NERDC Social Studies, Civic and Security Education Primary 4

The series is revised in line with the new NERDC 9-year Basic Education
Curriculum for primary schools. Though the three subjects – Social
Studies, Civic and Security Education – have been written in three different
sections of the book, they all focus on the principal issues of man, his
environment and his security. The authors have applied an integrated
approach to reinforce the treatment of these principal issues in the

facilitate teacher’s evaluation of the teaching-learning outcomes
at the end of each module.
·Teacher’s Guides are also provided to assist the teacher in lesson
preparation and to enhance teaching in the class.
